The U.S. West Coast is covered in thick smoke.

Tracking smoke from wildfires on the West Coast of the United States was made easier with the help of satellite data from foreign space organisations. The size of the smoke plume is shown in this Copernicus Sentinel-3 image, which was taken on September 10.

From one of Jupiter's moons, a photobomb

The Hubble Space Telescope's close-up photograph gives experts a new look at Jupiter's dramatic weather patterns. A lengthy, white storm with winds of roughly 560 km/h can be seen in the north. Europa, the gas giant's icy moon, is located to its left.
