Some tiaras are subtle and delicate, while others enter a room 10 minutes ahead of their wearer. You really must not miss the Delhi Durbar Tiara—it is a genuinely stunning item. When Queen Mary had it manufactured for the Delhi Durbar, or the celebration of her formal coronation as Empress of India, in 1911, it made its debut.

Subsequently, the diadem was given to the Queen Mother and subsequently to the Queen herself, who lent it to Camilla in 2005. For many, this was a genuine endorsement from a mother-in-law to a daughter-in-law. Given its price, it's understandable why.
