This 2021 Drone Photo Awards entry, which features a unique aerial view of the downtown Dubai cityscape, received commendation in the "Urban" category. Not all aerial photos turn out this well; this one was the product of warm mornings and chilly evenings, which combined to provide the ideal combination of atmospheric conditions to show Dubai's famous towers just above the clouds.
