Netflix has yet again produced an expensive show! Altered Carbon, the streaming giant's original 2018 series, presents a futuristic vision that looks costly. Its technological advancements and futuristic glimpses bombard its viewers with a flashy cyberpunk noir thriller. There is no easy or cheap way to produce any of it.
The show's relentless looks cost up to $7 million per episode, which is not surprising. The cast of Altered Carbon is not as impressive as the casts of other shows on this list. Joel Kinnaman, the highest-billed actor, is still a young actor. This show's budget is almost entirely devoted to its massive, CGI-heavy sci-fi world.
