16 Clever Repair Tips We Wish We’d Learned Sooner

6. Screw adhesive

Before using a screwdriver to tighten a small screw in an awkward location, dab the screwdriver tip with adhesive. Rubber glue is a better option since it can be easily removed after the screw has been securely anchored.

7. A concealed measuring tape

The measurement tape case length is indicated by the numbers (in millimetres) that are occasionally printed on the side of the tape. Now that you know this, you won't have to bend the tape any longer when working in a small area (like measuring a door or window hole). To get your measurements, just add the length of the measuring tape.
